While modern stucco layers have since covered the original exposed brickwork seen in Boxing Gloves, the building's distinct architectural silhouette and structural profile remain remarkably intact, offering an enduring connection to the early days of Hal Roach location filming.

In this classic Our Gang / The Little Rascals short Boxing Gloves, Joe Cobb and Chubby compete for the affections of Jean Darling. The rivalry centers around a soda shop date, leading to the hilarious complications the Little Rascals are known for.
The Plot
The Gang has constructed an unforgettable looking "camper" and head out on a hunting trip.
The Filming Locations
A favorite location for the makers of The Little Rascals / Our Gang films was in the Palms neighborhood of Los Angeles and that's the area covered in this quick preview video below.
The then and now movie locations comparisons dramatically show the changes this area has undergone since 1930. The alleys and streets are the same, but the wide open spaces seen in the 1930 film have been replaced by a very densely developed neighborhood.
