The Laurel and Hardy Saps At Sea San Diego Tent Oasis #30 is hosting the 24th International Sons Of The Desert Convention on June 21-25, 2026! The convention theme is "Celebrating the centennial anniversary of Stan and Babe working as a team at Hal Roach Studios 1926-2026."
I've been asked to provide a video of some of the Laurel and Hardy filming locations then and now and have put together a special presentation just for the convention. It will be shown on Sunday, June 21 at 4pm (preceded by a great presentation by Laurel and Hardy author and expert Randy Skretvedt). There's more info about the convention schedule here:
